A fully inclusive 6 day immersive experience at the stunning Sangsurya Retreat Centre in Byron Bay
This retreat is for women longing to reconnect with their creative essence and be nourished in community and nature. Each day we will weave together movement, singing and songwriting, with a focus on empowerment and authentic expression.
Let yourself be nurtured with delicious and healthy food in a beautiful natural setting. Luxuriate in the company of other women who want to support and witness you in your creative expression.
Love singing but don’t play an instrument?
Don't worry, there is no pressure to write a song. Perhaps you will write some prose or poetry and collaborate with a guitarist to put your words to music … or not! In such a rich and creative atmosphere magic can and does happen.
A beginners mindset is your greatest asset.

Retreat packages vary depending on room type. Each room has been individually designed and furnished to have its own charming ambience. No two rooms are the same.
The rates shown below are all inclusive of delicious meals, accommodation, teaching and facilitation. All amounts are AUD.

Not a dancer? Not to worry
Biodanza has absolutely no choreography or set steps to follow. Each of us has lived a life of movement ... from rolling to crawling to walking to running to climbing steps and playing different games. Everything that has happened in our life is recorded in the body. We move to music to rekindle all movement and open parts of our body that may be tight or rigid or stuck - all in the most gentle and self paced way.
So to say we dance is not quite accurate ... what we invite is free movement to music with guiding invitations. Each of us is a unique expression of life dancing through this world.
